Kenneth F. Carmine's practice is focused on workers' compensation law. He has demonstrated the ability to regularly achieve verdicts and awards, in many cases at 3-4 times the dollar amount of the insurance company's "best offer". Mr. Carmine personally handles all his own clients and spends the better part of each week in court and at the Industrial Accident Board advocating for his injured clients.
Mr. Carmine has handled hundreds of worker's compensation cases since 1974. He knows how to get you disability checks to replace your lost income, obtain payment of medical bills, transportation expenses, reimbursement for prescriptions and will pursue benefits for any permanent injury or scarring you may sustain as a result of your injury. Mr. Carmine has been successful in obtaining additional benefits for worker compensation clients. In particular, he has been successful in cases in which the insurance carrier has violated the rules of the Industrial Accident Board and the laws of the State of Delaware. These cases are commonly called Huffman cases and involve filing demands for payment and law suits in a timely fashion so as to more than double the benefits to which you might otherwise be entitled. In one such case, Mr. Carmine doubled his client's recovery twice because of failure of an insurance carrier to pay money legally due. He also obtained an additional settlement for that client because of that insurance company's course of bad faith conduct.
